File Manager
Determine what a File Manager is and precisely how it is different from its pc counterpart.
All web hosting accounts are managed from a CP and no matter the type of the latter, there's always a File Manager tool, which allows you to look at the files that you've uploaded inside the website hosting account and to execute basic operations with them, for example moving, copying or deleting. Based on the specific tool, there can be more advanced features as well, including control over permissions and archives. Some Control Panels are simpler to work with than others and so are their File Manager sections. As this is the primary tool you shall use to manage your files, it is crucial to check in advance what options it includes and if it shall appeal to you, because a hard-to-use File Manager may be a burden and can make managing your online presence harder.

File Manager in Shared Website Hosting
The File Manager tool, that's part of our in-house made Hepsia Control Panel, will enable you to administer all of the files you upload to your
shared website hosting account effortlessly. You could move files and whole folders by dragging-and-dropping them in the account. You could upload content in the same manner - pick a file/folder on your computer and drag it to your web browser where the File Manager is loaded. By right-clicking a file or a folder in your account, you may also access context menus with more sophisticated options - you will be able to set up or to unpack an archive, to create a password-protected area, to change the UNIX permissions through a web interface or to edit the content with a number of editors without ever leaving the CP – an HTML editor, a plain text editor or a code editor. We have also included help articles and video tutorials, you can access from the File Manager to get more information about its features.
